Condolences
I had the pleasure of working with Bob in years past. It was always a pleasure. May he rest in peace.
Bob was one of smartest and hardest working men I have ever known. He was successful in everything he did, whether it be business or as a family man. We always looked up to him as kids and he bought me my first rock
Album “ Three Dog Night”. I worked for Bob every winter for a few years and his sense of humour and wit kept people laughing the whole time.
Our families deepest condolences to Deb, Shane, Cody their spouses and grandchildren
When they say they don’t make men like that anymore, with Bob the saying definitely fits.
Again our deepest condolences
Terry, Jennifer and Family.
Uncle Bob was probably the most influential person in my life as a boy and young man. I always looked up to him, he was who I wanted to be. He was witty, street smart and driven to succeed. He took me fishing and camping, taught me how to buy and sell cars, and was always there when my mom needed him. He always had a cool car, Triumph mg, 40's coupe with tweety bird on the door, customized van with tear drop windows, and a few station wagons - Uncle Bob could even make a station wagon look cool. He was one of the hardest working men I ever met, but he knew how to have fun. He was always there for family. I will miss his stories and chuckle. My thoughts are with Deb, Shane, Cody and all
Bob was truly an original, we were close friends from the late sixties and shared some truly memorable times together. He was a handful and one of the quickest with a comeback that I have ever met. Since moving to the westcoast we slowly lost touch, and the last time I spent time with him, Shane was probably just starting school and Cody was being toilet trained. Debbie ( I remember when the two of you met) must truly be an angel, and I share in your loss. So happy to hear the boys have married and have kids of their own, what a great grandma you will be. If I come across any of you in the future I will be happy to have a drink or two and tell Bob stories....Kurt Nielsen / Comox Valley
